Main focus: phonetics, basic knowledge of German grammar and vocabulary

Elementary Level 2: A2

Duration: 8 weeks (20 hours per week)
Main focus: simple sentences, development of grammar skills, conversation

Bridging Course A2/B1

Duration: 8 weeks (20 hours per week)
This bridging course is a basic element of our curriculum and is obligatory for all students
Main focus: sentence structure, grammar revision, cultural skills, conversation

Intermediate Level 1: B1

Duration: 8 weeks (20 hours per week)
Further development of grammar skills, complex sentences, cultural skills, conversation

Intermediate Level 2: B2    

Duration: 8 weeks (20 hours per week)
Advanced Grammar, understanding of moderately difficult texts, conversation – exercises for text presentation, creative writing

Advanced Level 1: C1

Duration: 8 weeks (20 hours per week)
Reading, text comprehension, grammar, conversation, text presentation, creative writing, summarising of scientific texts

Advanced Level 2: C2

Duration: 8 weeks (20 hours per week)
Oral presentations, exercises covering main university disciplines (technics/engineering, business sciences and arts)

DSH-Preparation course

Duration: 8 weeks (20 hours per week)
Special training of skills needed in DSH-exams considering different universities’ exam designs. Practise of sample questions for the written part of the exam and discussion of subject orientated texts for the oral part of the exam.

TestDaF

Duration: 8 weeks (20 hours per week)
Exam preparation with practise exams: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, writing skills, oral skills

German Medicine

Preparation for DSH-Exams and TestDaf:


Preparation courses for DSH-Exams and TestDaF start once a month. Duration depends on the knowledge of the individual student. Participants are divided into different course levels after a qualifying examination. At the end of each level there is an internal test before students are allowed to take part in the next level course. If necessary prerequisites are not met there is a reassessment after two evening classes.
